Confessor by Terry Goodkind

I just finished Confessor by Terry Goodkind and although I enjoyed his writings in general. I thought he repeated himself way too much about "living your life the way that you want." When Richard Rahl would ramble on for more than one page of dialog, it created a scene in my mind of people just nodding their heads dumbly for several minutes. That would make sense, however the characters that he befriends typically interrupt him. Unless he gets caught up in what I affectionately call, "his soap box moment." The fight scenes are enough to make the book very entertaining and the moments where he sits around studying were boring. It was a roller-coaster of entertaining action and several pages of boredom. My first impression on the ending made me want to burn the book. But the more I think about it, I do appreciate the creative manner in how Terry Goodkind leaves me as a reader and a fan with something to think about. That in nature of artistic expression.
